Mangum’s Inside Sales Representative is the personal link between customers and the heavy hauling division of Mangum’s Inc. The Inside Sales Representative is a duel role of inside sales and dispatch/coordination. The Inside Sales Representative primary responsibility will be:

  • Quote and manage transportation projects by understanding Mangum’s Inc equipment and how it relates to customer’s requests
  • Obtain permitting, engage civilian escorts, and problem solve issues
  • Assisting with coordination and dispatch of trucks
  • Update/Maintain CRM data
  • Price and complete after-sale tasks

The ideal candidate will have a college degree, experience working as a sales coordinator or project manager within the transportation industry, strong communication skills, and a personal drive to succeed. A current driver’s license with a good driving record is a must. Knowledge of the local construction market, experience using a CRM program, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, Facebook, Twitter, Smartphone skills would be a plus.

Job Requirements:

  • Understand the complete business model of Mangum’s Inc.
  • Demonstrate exceptional integrity and strength of character in all aspects of personal and professional life
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
  • Follow leads provided by management.
  • Understand transport laws and requirements.
  • Quote transportation project
  • Update and maintain CRM program
  • Price and complete after-sale tasks
  • Work directly with customers, Mangum’s Inc operations team and drivers
  • Assist in accomplishing the goals of management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and conduct at all times.
  • Remain accessible at all times.
  • Visit and assist with house accounts when needed.
  • Report to and communicate with assigned sales mentor.
  • Review Sales and Commission Reports with Sales Manager monthly
  • Observe price structure set by management.
  • Review aging of accounts and assist in collections when necessary.

Job Type:

Full-time- This is a Wilson, NC based position at Mangum’s Inc corporate office
